Refund & Cancellation Policy - The Basics

At Studio Velweb, we value our clients and strive to deliver the highest quality of service in web design, development, and digital marketing. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled.

What to Include in the Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Project Initiation

  • All projects begin only after receiving an advance payment as agreed in the project proposal.

  • This advance is non-refundable, as it covers project setup, resource allocation, and initial planning.

2. Cancellations by Client

  • If a client cancels a project before work has started, only the advance payment will be retained.

  • If a client cancels after work has started, payments made up to the cancellation date are non-refundable, and any pending balance for completed milestones must be cleared.

  • No refunds are provided for services already delivered.

3. Cancellations by Studio Velweb

  • In rare cases where Studio Velweb must cancel a project due to unforeseen reasons, a fair refund will be issued for the portion of work not completed.

4. Digital Services (Social Media, Marketing, Hosting, etc.)

  • Payments for ongoing services such as social media management, SEO, or hosting are non-refundable once the service cycle has started.

  • Clients may cancel ongoing services with 30 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle.

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are not applicable in the following cases:

  • Delays caused by client in providing content, feedback, or approvals.

  • Change of mind after deliverables are submitted.

  • Third-party service failures (e.g., domain, hosting, or third-party app issues).
